A Place of Life and Practice for Nuns in Service to the Community
Dorje Pamo is a community of Buddhist nuns of the Gelugpa tradition, located in Fiac, in the Southwest of France, northeast of Toulouse.
Dorje Pamo Monastery is a project affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), a worldwide organization under the spiritual direction/guidance of Lama Zopa Rinpoche. The monastery is also part of an FPMT community of monks and nuns called the International Mahayana Institute (IMI), which includes more than 330 ordained members. Our abbot is Geshe Tenzin Loden, who is also the resident teacher at Vajra Yogini Institute located nearby.
In the close vicinity of Dorje Pamo Monastery are Vajra Yogini Institute and Nalanda Monastery, both also affiliated to the FPMT. These two institutions offer various study programs developed by FPMT.

Construction of an Enlightenment Stupa
to honor the memory of our incomparable Master, Lama Zopa Rinpoche. The Enlightenment Stupa commemorates the Buddha’s attainment of complete Enlightenment, and embodies the spiritual qualities of our masters.
